Jorge Martín Pérez obtained a B.Sc in mathematics, and a B.Sc in computer science, both at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) in 2016. He obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D in Telematics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) in 2017 and 2021, respectively. Jorge held a postdoc position in UC3M from 2021 until 2023. Afterwards, he joined the GIROS research group at the Department of Telematic Systems Engineering, UPM; where he holds an Associate Professor position. His research focuses on optimal resource allocation in networks, and has participated in EU and national research projects.
