Angel Alvarez is Industrial Engineer (Technical University of Madrid, 1969),
Master in Computer Science (University of Southern California,
Los Angeles, 1974) and Doctor in Industrial Engineering (Technical
University of Madrid, 1980). He currently is an Associate Professor at the
Technical
University of Madrid where he has been teaching courses on
Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, Distributed Systems, and Computer Programming
since 1977.
Angel Alvarez is a member of ACM, IEEE and Sigma Xi,
and has represented Spain at IFIP (International Federation
for Information Processing) General Assembly from 1986 to 1994.
